Laser-welded narrow-kerf is the choice when cuts are mostly ductile iron and a clean, square, repeatable kerf for couplings matters most; the documented narrow kerf reduces saw load and material loss. Narrow Kerf + Tensioned Core
For pipe work the two QC signatures are kerf control and core tension. A documented narrow kerf per SKU keeps coupling and repair-sleeve fit consistent batch to batch and reduces saw load in ductile iron. A tensioned 1075 core (run-out under 0.3mm) keeps the cut square and the blade cool at speed in a trench. Every blade carries a max RPM stamp per EN 13236; for OEM lots we retain a destructive bond cross-section and run a witness cut on your target pipe before volume.
