Zhonghuan manufactures the premium, laser-welded end of the floor saw category. A floor saw runs long linear meterage on a high-horsepower walk-behind or ride-on rig, through cured concrete, hard aggregate, rebar, and abrasive asphalt — conditions that glaze, undercut, and shed segments off a cheap pressed blade within meters. We build only laser-welded blades (1.5mm minimum weld penetration, steel-to-steel) with drop-segment undercut protection so abrasive slurry erodes the segment rather than the steel core beneath it, ellipsoidal anti-crack gullets that stop fatigue cracks under rebar impact, and a tensioned 1075 spring-steel core that runs flat and true at full RPM.
Because floor saws span a wide power band, we spec the bond, segment height, and core tension to the rig's horsepower (HP) and substrate — not one blade for every job. For the hardest aggregate we offer our ARIX arranged-diamond option for uniform diamond exposure and longer life. This is a different tier of tool, and a different buyer, from the few-dollar pressed discs sold for tile: HP-matched, dry-safe rated, and witness-cut in your substrate before volume.
What Defines a Floor Saw Blade
Floor saw blades cut horizontally on walk-behind, self-propelled, or ride-on concrete saws — used for joint cutting, slab cutting, road work, parking lot maintenance, expansion joints, and demolition. The category covers a wide diameter range (14-60 inch) and substrate split (cured concrete, asphalt, green concrete, asphalt-over-concrete). Arbor is almost universally 1-inch (25.4mm) standard across North American and European rigs.

Bond Formula — Spec by Substrate, Not by Code
The most common procurement error in OEM floor saw blade programs is specifying bond by code letter without naming the substrate. Bond hardness matches substrate inversely: soft bond for hard substrate (hard aggregate, rebar), hard bond for soft substrate (asphalt, green concrete). The substrate description drives the bond formula — "C25-C35 cured concrete with hard aggregate" or "sand-aggregate asphalt" or "green concrete 1-12 hours post-pour for Soff-Cut."
For OEM RFQs, name the substrate explicitly per SKU. The supplier matches the bond formula to your substrate description — this is more reliable than guessing the bond code (P38Z, HOL, GLD) and more useful than asking for a generic "hard bond." Substrate-named RFQs produce quotable specs; code-only RFQs produce back-and-forth.
