What the self-centering tip buys your customers
A point ground into the centre of the carbide tip means the bit bites on first contact instead of skating, so every hole starts exactly on the mark — no walking, no pilot hole, no centre punch. The European premium references are Heller's Bionic Pro and Diager's Twister Plus — both a self-centering 2-cutter with a variable-zone flute, each under its own trademarks. Specify the 2-cutter for plain and lightly reinforced concrete, brick, block and masonry, where speed and hole count beat steel resistance. For reinforced concrete with frequent rebar contact, move the customer to a 4-cutter cross-head or, at the top, a full carbide head — tiers we also supply.
