Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Ship Auger and Speedbor?

Ship Auger bits have wide, open spiral flutes for excellent chip removal in deep boring. Speedbor bits use a tri-flute design for faster drilling in shorter holes. Ship Auger is better for cable routing, while Speedbor excels in quick framing work.

Can your auger bits drill through nails?

Our Nail-Eater series features carbide-tipped cutting edges specifically designed to bore through embedded nails without damage. Standard Ship Auger and Speedbor bits are not recommended for nail contact.

What shank sizes do you offer?

We offer 1/4" hex shank for Speedbor series (compatible with impact drivers) and 7/16" hex shank for Ship Auger and Nail-Eater series (for drill/drivers and right-angle drills).

Do you offer OEM customization for auger bits?

Yes, we provide full OEM/ODM services including custom sizes, private label branding, custom coatings, and tailored packaging solutions.

What materials are your auger bits made from?

Our auger bits are manufactured from high carbon steel for optimal hardness and flexibility. Nail-Eater series includes carbide inserts at the cutting edge for nail-boring capability.
