Premium 5% Cobalt alloy for drilling stainless steel and hard abrasive materials. Available in classic amber/bronze or black oxide appearance. High red hardness prevents dulling at high temperatures.
HSS-G Fully Ground (M2)
Industrial grade M2 (6542) steel, fully ground for precision. Available in bright, TiN or black (steam-treated) finish. Ideal for professional drilling in alloy steel, iron, and non-ferrous metals.
HSS-R Rolled Forged (Black)
Cost-effective general purpose bits. Roll forged manufacturing process. Available in bright or black oxide finish. Great for mild steel, wood, and plastic.

What is the difference between HSS-R, HSS-G, and HSS-Co?
HSS-R is roll-forged (economical, black). HSS-G is fully ground (precise, bright/TiN). HSS-Co contains Cobalt (hardest, for stainless steel).
When should I use Titanium (TiN) coating?
Titanium Nitride (gold color) coating increases surface hardness and reduces friction. It extends tool life when drilling abrasive materials but is not recommended for drilling wrought iron.
What point angle should I choose?
118° is standard for general use. 135° Split Point is best for hard metals and curved surfaces as it starts drilling immediately without walking.
Do you offer Double End or Extra Long bits?
Yes, we manufacture Double End body drills for sheet metal rivets and Extra Long series (up to 300mm+) for deep hole drilling.
