Ready for the brazing furnace

Our drill bits are arranged on the mesh belt with brazing paste and filler metal applied, ready to enter the furnace. The carbide-to-steel joints have not yet been brazed.

SDS-Max mining drill bits for rock drilling

We manufacture ZHMAX-168 with a three-piece carbide head, six active cutting edges and a raised centering point. The deep-flute SDS-Max body supports rock, natural stone and reinforced-concrete drilling programs. Share the rock conditions and rotary hammer model so we can match the head configuration, diameter and working length to your application.

Why three carbide pieces and six cutting edges?

The three carbide pieces form six active cutting edges around the raised centering point. Piece count describes the head construction; cutting-edge count describes the working geometry.

What does the post-brazing stage show?

These records show the assembly after flux-assisted mesh-belt furnace brazing, before heat treatment, sandblasting and final polishing. The final two photographs show the finished product after those operations.

Specify your mining drill bit

Send the rock type, rotary hammer model, required hole diameter, working length, overall length and quantity. For a 32 mm inquiry, state both lengths separately. We review the specification, sample requirements and OEM branding with your team.
